Brahmins of Blogosphere!

It is interesting to see how the Bloggers Bandwagon are quick to jump the bandwagon of people in opposition of reservation in educational institutions. Reeks of upper class elitism.

Its good to hear of an alternate point of view. I am sure you will agree that casteism is something to be done away with - the sooner the better.

Why don't you begin a pro-reservation blogroll, it would make an interesting read.

Casteism should eliminated...
As we move into next century we need to find way to uplift socially oppressed people and in the long run the reservation should be stopped with a definite metric based upliftment. I guess, the current reservation for SC/ST is for social upliftment. Extending this for other may not be justifiable.

To stop reservation, we should start with priest hood, which is based on birth/ caste than merit.

Reverse reservation starting with Hindu priest hood.

Now that you have our attention, can we hear your 'arguments' please?
Oh and a list of things, which don't reek of elitism will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ah casteism must be eliminated by perpetuating the caste divide in the name of 'reservations' because of course 'lower' castes/OBCs cannot enter on their own merit of course.

But of course that is not stupidity.

ahh, yes.

When we dont have a coherent argument, we will hide behind the age old elitism! tag.

'reeks' of inanity, to me.
